Description
Finkel Bows are crafted in Schwanden bei Brienz, Switzerland, where the workshop has been producing fine bows for decades. Founded by Siegfried Finkel in 1952 after relocating from Markneukirchen, Germany, the workshop continues a legacy that began with his father-in-law, Paul Weidhaas, in the 19th century. Siegfried’s son, Johannes Finkel, took over in 1984 and expanded the workshop’s reputation internationally. Today, the fifth generation is represented by Daniela Finkel, who apprenticed under her father and now leads the workshop, ensuring the continuation of this esteemed tradition.
