Description
Dreadbox Disorder Fuzz Effects Pedal with Self-Oscillating Filter
Dreadbox Disorder is a very aggressive fuzz pedal with a twist: it’s equipped with a self-oscillating filter that allows you to produce oscillating fuzz sounds. The filter can be swept into low pass or high pass, making it suitable for both guitar and bass. There’s also an onboard envelope follower, letting you create auto-wah sounds.
- Vintage transistor-based aggressive gated fuzz
- Advanced oscillating low pass or high pass filter
- Wide tone range
- Excellent low end response for bass
- Screaming high pass filter for guitars
- Unlimited volume boost
- Expressive envelope filter
- 2 patch points for eurorack modular or other CV-capable synthesizers
FILTER knob: At about 50% the filter switches through modes internally (a short click might be audible when doing this). Modulations from FILTER CV input and envelope follower only affect the current filter mode selected.
FUZZ knob: At about 50% the fuzz gate kicks in. Below that amount the gate is open and a low level of hum might be audible – and expected.
RESON knob: Set the filter’s feedback amount. At higher levels, depending on the filter’s frequency, self-oscillation starts.
LEVEL knob: Set the output level of the effect.
ENV switch: Select the envelope’s polarity. Positive works best for low pass, negative for the high pass filter.
FILTER CV input: set filter frequency, accepts ±5V
ENV OUT CV output: v
SENSE knob: controls the envelope amount and sensitivity going into the filter
