Dreadbox Kinematic is a VCA-based compressor and envelope filter effect pedal suitable for fretted instruments and synthesizers with a post-diode overdrive circuit and eurorack compatibility.

Mode switch:choose between two main pedal modes

COMP COLOUR position: the pedal acts as a compressor and frequency booster

ENV FILTER position: the pedal acts a 12dB low pass filter with auto-wah

FILTER knob

In COMP COLOUR mode: set level of frequency boost

In ENV FILTER mode: set low pass filter cutoff frequency

DRIVE knob: set drive amount for post-diode overdrive circuit

LEVEL knob: set the output level of the effect

ENVELOPE knob

In COMP COLOUR mode: set compression ratio

In ENV FILTER mode: set auto-wah amount

FILTER CV input: set filter cutoff frequency

LEVEL CV input: set the output level of the effect

EG OUT CV output: control voltage output from auto-wah envelope filter level
