The Erica Synths Perkons Voice is a Eurorack adaptation of the percussion voices from the PERKONS HD-01 drum machine. With its hybrid architecture, the module combines a versatile digital sound engine with an analog multimode filter and overdrive, delivering powerful sound design capabilities in modular form. It offers 13 distinct sound generation algorithms, allowing users to explore a broad range of tonal possibilities. Additionally, up to 99 user presets can be saved and easily recalled, making it a practical tool for both studio and live performance setups.
The TUNE and PATCH CV inputs are calibrated to 1V/oct and can be configured for various CV settings, enhancing its compatibility with other modular gear. The module also includes a drone mode for extended soundscapes, further expanding its creative potential. Firmware updates allow the integration of alternative percussion algorithms, ensuring that the Perkons Voice remains a forward-thinking and versatile addition to any Eurorack system.
