The Original Flexocor Double Bass Strings (orchestral tuning) are rope core steel strings and are especially suitable for bowed instruments. They produce a brilliant, powerful sound with great projection and have a short sustain. They are instantly playable and have great stability.The core material is a high-tensile rope made from carbon steel which is wound with chrome steel. This Extended E string is an extra long string made for a bass with an extension bringing the E down to a C.
