“Possums at Sea” is the sequel to “Possums in the Roof” and structured as a storybook with each chapter introducing new technical skills. Treasure Maps illustrate notes, while finger-patterns and the Navigation Charts provide scales and arpeggios as supplementary material. All the chromatic finger patterns in first position are introduced progressively as are a variety of bowing patterns and technical skills at Preliminary to Grade One examination levels. Musical styles include Elizabethan Dances, Gypsy Fiddle, French Waltzes, Sea Shanties and Irish Reels.
