Designed personally by Paul Reed Smith in conjunction with the new58/15 pickups for PRS’s 30th Anniversary year, 85/15’s are uncoveredpickups with remarkable clarity and extended high and low end perfectfor more modern applications. This blend of tradition and innovationmirrors the culture that PRS developed over the last three decades.
The Custom 24 is the original PRS.When this guitar was introducedin 1985, the combination of a 24-fret, 25” scale length, dualhumbucking, tremolo guitar was a distinctive configuration, offeringplayers a new tonal option. Pairing this with a more traditionalcombination of maple top, and mahogany back helpedgive the Custom 24 its signature look, feel, and tone. For threedecades, the Custom 24 has been a perennial favorite of musicians,defining the playability and tone that PRS guitars are known for.
