The SolidGoldFX Imperial MKII is a fuzz pedal inspired by the vintage JEN Jumbo Fuzz, known for its unique slider controls and germanium noise gate. Retaining the high-impedance JFET preamp from the original SGFX Imperial, the MKII ensures low noise, dynamic response, and excellent tone clarity across guitar, bass, or synth setups. A new Contour slider replaces the mids switch, allowing for a more flexible tone-shaping experience, while the redesigned noise gate, now using silicon transistors, provides consistent, sharp attack and virtually zero noise without sacrificing sustain. The result is a fuzz pedal that ranges from aggressive, gated textures to smooth, Gilmour-esque sustain, with true bypass switching, dual LED indicators, and top-mounted jacks for modern convenience.
