Description
A fine violin made by Taras Andrash in 2024 using well-seasoned European tonewoods. This instrument features a golden yellow oil varnish with brown reflections and light antiquing. It was set up and adjusted by our master luthier, A.M. Bilva. The sound is clear, focused, and sweet with a quick response. This is the second of two violins from the same year.
Andrash studied for many years with a master violin maker in Cremona, and is currently located in Galicia Sambir, Ukraine. We are pleased to feature his instruments here at Fiddlershop.
Wood: Carpathian spruce and maple aged 30 years, 2-piece top and back
Varnish: Oil based, golden yellow with brown reflections, light antiquing
Bridge: Despiau 3-tree
Fittings: Ebony pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest
