The TV Jones T-Armond uses larger alnico cylinder magnets and very thin magnet wire. The coils are short and squatty – similar to a P-90 pickup coil. The result is a full-bodied harmonic tone. The adjustable cylinder magnets enable each string to be dialed in for perfect string-to-string balance. Tom designed our T-Armond set after Brian Setzer’s Silver Jet used on his Dirty Boogie CD. This guitar spent many hours on Tom’s workbench over the years.

Bridge: Wider pole spacing, which places a magnet directly under each string, results in optimum string separation and output. This pickup is wound with thinner magnet wire to enhance it’s thicker tone.
