Description

Martin Sheridan began making violins in 1977 under the tutelage of Edward Stuekergergen, and later studied in Europe. He has placed instruments with the Chicago Symphony, Oklahoma Symphony, Raleigh Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, and in Taiwan. Sheridan is a former professional double bassist and has made a number of basses as well as violins, violas, and cellos. He estimates that they number over 100. Sheridan operated violin shops in Raleigh, NC and Chicago before devoting himself full time to making.

This 15 year old Sheridan cello from 2007 has just become available again; displaying very little if any signs of wear, this boisterous modern American cello is well broken in and apt to perform.
