Description
A modest violin not without elegance in craftsmanship; dating to the first decade of the 20th century and following an Amatese pattern. Truly, Amati inspired would be more fair, and all the more so when taking the arching into account: flatter through the back with flat edges and more significant arching to the top lend this instrument ample projection and a voice that is clear and punchy, with a smooth, almost buttery quality.
