Exclusive to the Evans line are Hydraulic drumheads: heavy- duty, twin-ply heads with a layer of oil between the plies to greatly reduce resonance and emphasize the drum’s lower overtones. Hydraulic heads are an excellent alternative to inconsistent methods of drumhead muffling.
