This Fender Custom Shop Dealer Select ’62 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in Faded Aged Sonic Blue is one of Detroit Guitar’s exclusive Dealer Select builds—made only for Detroit Guitar and featuring a set of very special specs. At its core are custom Hand-Wound ’62 Strat single-coil pickups (DG62S), with a lightly overwound bridge, a regular middle, and a lightly underwound neck for a perfectly balanced tonal palette. Additional enhancements include truss rod access through the headstock, modern string spacing, a push/push tone control that allows the bridge and neck pickups to be engaged together, a versatile swimming pool routing with full wire shielding, and an adjusted ’60s Oval “C” neck carve measuring .810”–.940” for authentic yet refined feel.
