Possibly the most intricately handcrafted acoustic guitar that Gibson has to offer, the Doves In Flight 2019 boasts a bevy of incredible details. The 28 dove inlays present on the fingerboard, headstock, and bridge are all hand-engraved and –laid and each feature a different original design. The tuning knobs are hand-engraved, as is the pickguard, which is also hand-painted. The square shoulder body is built with a sitka spruce top and flame maple back and sides, and the three-piece maple neck features a classic rounded profile as well as a richlite fingerboard. This is Gibson craftsmanship at its most profound, deftly executed with touch as light as a feather.
