Hamel conducting batons are known for their durability, balance, and fine finish. The wooden handles of Hamel batons are made from native Wisconsin Butternut wood, custom-turned one at a time on a lathe for individual craftsmanship.
Hamel conductor’s baton shafts are typically made of fine straight-grain birch and maple, which are specially kiln-dried to prevent warping. Hamel offers various styles and sizes of batons to suit different conductor preferences, including the Petite Regular, Petite Special, and other models ranging from 10 to 16 inches in length.
