The DSS-17 Whiskey Sunset merges timeless design with a rich, resonant tone in a slope-shoulder Dreadnought crafted to make a statement. Featuring a solid spruce top alongside mahogany back and sides, it produces a robust low end with softened high frequencies for a warm, well-balanced sound. Its elegantly curved, narrower-waisted body refines the traditional Dreadnought silhouette both visually and tonally. Enhanced by scalloped X-bracing and a 25.4″ scale length, it offers dynamic responsiveness and sustained clarity. The 1 3/4″ nut width and Modified Low Oval neck profile ensure comfortable playability. Finished in a whiskey sunset burst with antique white binding and satin, its refined aesthetic complements the East Indian rosewood fingerboard adorned with 1955 Style 18 mother-of-pearl inlays and aged nickel tuners.
