Description
The NR-2 is the simplest way to add a pickup to a biscuit bridged resonator guitar. The sensor for the NR-2 adheres to the biscuit with 3M VHB tape.The NR-2Pro comes prewired and ready to install with the low profile M2plus jack assembly with volume control nestling in right next to the tailpiece. No drilling or modification to the instrument is needed.

Technical
The NR-2 sensor is small and light in weight. At only 1/8″ high, 1/4″ wide and 1 1/2″” in length, it does not affect the acoustic sound of the instrument. It is normally attached with 3M VHBmounting tape to the top of the biscuit.Jack installation is simple asthe jack assembly simply adheres to the top in the area beneath the tailpiece.

Amplification
This pickup has been designed to operate properly and sound terrific without the use of a preamp when plugged into any ‘normal’ amp (guitar amp, bass amp, etc.) As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. If you require the ability to plug directly into a P.A. or mixer then you may wish to add our Mini Pre belt clipable preamp.
