To give each drummer an unique playing voice within the tonal spectrum, Pearl’s revolutionary Free Floating snare drums are custom tailored to fit a specific task by model, shell material, and size. The 14″x6.5″ model’s 6-ply shell is composed of four other plies of Maple and two inner plies of African Mahogany, delivering full, rounded midrange and bottom-end snare tone. Each drum features die-cast hoops, the slip-free Click-Lock throw-off system, and unique cylder lugs.
