• Viol: designed to produce a light, playful mezzo piano; this mute is an updated model inspired by the traditional 1-hole rubber mute
• Dual Tone:reviving a popular shape from earlier centuries whenmutes were crafted from bone, leather or metal, this model can be placedon top of the bridge for a pianissimo that filters out higher& lower overtones while preserving mid-range overtones,or positioned rightagainst the bridge for mezzo piano.
• Square:this model can be used as either a slide mute or disc mute, allowing the mute to create orchestral mezzo piano and pianissimo effects.
